I was about to submit a headcanon, but this thing popped up that says "stop censorship" is it an ad or what?
(Posting this publicly, since I’m sure I’ll get a few asks like this!)
Oops, I didn’t think about that showing up on other pages…
But no, it’s not an ad. It’s an image (meant to resemble a censor bar and possibly show up in an inconvenient place) that links to a website explaining some things about a bill that’s being voted on tomorrow that, if passed, will make it possible for certain websites to be blocked for United States citizens.
I thought it would be a pretty good thing to participate in, so I pasted a couple on the blog. They should hopefully be gone within the next few days!
I apologize if they’re getting in the way of you reading the rules. ;w; All the guidelines I use are pretty basic and common sense, so you most likely don’t need to worry about messing anything up while submitting.
If they’re covering up the actual submit box for anybody, though, then I’ll position them somewhere else.
Oh, did the Vancouver headcannon really get taken down?! Oh no! I liked that one a lot! The Canucks are my home team, you see, and it was nice to see a reminder that not all hockey fans focus on the negatives. To the person who posted it originally: don't feel ashamed of the people who cannot gracefully accept a loss. Most people, especially in BC, were very supportive of the Canucks for how they did. I still support them, and am proud that they put up a good fight. <3

Could you remove the "Matt's favorite team" headcanon? I submitted that back before the Vancouver riots and I don't think it's very tasteful anymore. Sorry! :(

XD I was just wondering... am I the only one who finds it kind of funny that there are all these headcanons about why Prussia's still hanging around... but very few (that I can think of) about Romano, who's basically in the same situation? (I actually have my own headcanon about that situation, which I'll probably get around to submitting eventually. X'D) It seems poor Romano's always forgotten or ignored, isn't he? ;w;
Hmm! You’re right, there are a lot more headcanons for Gilbert on that kind of subject than there are for Lovino.
But I think that’s because Gilbert canonly represents Prussia, a country which is completely dissolved, while Lovino is canonly the Southern part of Italy, which still exists. Fans think that Gilbert needs to have something to represent or some excuse to still be around, while Lovi technically has one.
I don’t really know though! Gilbert, Feli, and Lovi aren’t characters I look into or think about very much myself — /too busy obsessing over the Asians — so I could be wrong on the canon info? Like, I don’t know of Ludwig representing West Germany and Gilbert now representing East Germany is canon or only widely accepted fanon. If it’s canon, well, I guess they really are in the same boat… and in that case I’ll go with “Gilbert is just super popular” as the excuse for it instead haha.
